Porirua Club Softball Adjunct

The softball adjunct is made up of the PCI Presidents Men's and two x PCI Women's Softball teams.

The Men's Presidents softball team do not train unless it is at the PCI Club. We are currently playing in the Wellington Softball Association's Saturday afternoon Senior Grade. During the season we play for 3 x cups against three other Presidents sides Kapiti, Toa Shed 38 and Poneke Kilbirnie. This 2018/2019 season all Pressie softball teams have been added into the Senior Grade.   

We keep financially afloat when the Men's softball team has its turn on weekly raffles (3 times a year), Batons Up (3 times a year) or participation and support in ticket sales from our PCI exec and other adjuncts hosting events.    

The Womens softball adjunct has two social teams entered into the Wellington Softball Association competition that runs from October until March each year. We are a friendly bunch of ladies who like to get out, enjoy each others company and have a hit around each week. We have set fundraisers every year, Raffles, Battens up and Housie that contribute to running costs and functions and are always open to new fundraising opportunities. We welcome new players who have played or not played before and are always on the look out for people who would like to get involved by coaching and/or managing a team, scoring or umpiring. 

DAY / TIMES of Softball activities
Day/Times of adjunct activities: Wellington Softball Association softball games are usually played on Saturday afternoons and one of the Women's teams trains on Thursday eveings.

Our home ground is Onepoto Park. The softball season starts a week before or after Labour Weekend - October. The softball season normally finishes a week before the end of March.  

COSTS
Men's: A $20 team subscription is charged per season. This goes towards BBQ's when we host teams we play against for the three cups during the season. An adjunct BBQ is also organised when we have all teams playing together at Onepoto Park.    

Women's: $30 adjunct membership fee (reviewed annually)
